" Is it good for a Mechanic, is it good for a Mechanic.?" 🤣 I'd say it depends on what type of Mechanic. Automotive/Truck where you don't need to move your box out of your work space, probably not. But if you need to move around a lot, Yup. I've done Heavy Trucks, Automotive, and Railroad type work, never needed to move my Snap-On out of the building. Currently I'm doing Forklift maintenance/repair, needed something I could roll around to where the equipment quits running. The Packout moves like a furniture cart, I've had to break it down to load in the truck, roll it up to loading docks, taken elevators with it, climbed stairs, sometimes walking up to a quarter mile through tunnels/halls. There's other brands as well, but this type of box works well for this type of work.

Hey mate, can you please speak and describe what you’re doing a little clearer? If you going to measure two items, say which one you’re holding, and then it’s measurement, and then do the same for the other. Viewers shouldn’t need to rewind to look at which you were holding, or read the callipers because you didn’t read one out. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining for no reason, but when you’re doing the 13mm and the half inch, you say about 2.7mm but you don’t read out the imperial one, which shows 2.9mm. Not a massive deal if I can work it out, but it’s not ideal.

They improved the bit socket. It’s got a bearing on the one I just bought and it’s a massive improvement on the old one. It’s really snug and safe and smooth. Makes it a useful tool now

I love that the sockets don’t roll. But yeah, a touch sloppy in the fit. Wish that Tone flex head locked I wish I liked the Milwaukee ratchets more than I do. Ideally, screws/bolts should enter on the back of the ratchet and thread into the cover plate. Then if threads are stripped, it’s easy to just change out the plate. Also now I want to convert one of my 1/4” Milwaukees lol

Regarding the "takumi" section, for reference here is an English translation. (Note: It doesn't say "takumi" in Japanese. Rather it says "hatsuke" meaning "blade adjustment". "takumi" means expert skill.) Blade adjustment: A skilled craftsman hand-aligns the blades one by one with a file. I have an OG 43 tooth Gearwrench ratchet and that thing is a tank, those shorter thick ½" ratchets work great in situations where you want to add long extensions. As it stands I'm sticking with that 90T. I appreciate you taking it apart. I have all the 120xp wrenches 🔧 and they've been quite problematic TBH, I wish those were simply 90T as well, because I really like that spline drive for all my squares and Triangles so all the bases are covered, but those 120xp wrenches ARE NOT confidence inspiring. Thanks for showing us the ratchet. 🎉💯

Purchased one today, love how easily i can store in my storage cabinet. I tested the suction and it was powerful!

If you use a higher quality blade, Like the Irwin, which is thicker, you probably won't be able to squeeze two into the slot, but as those are hardier blades to begin with, one spare should be fine to get you through a day or two of heavy use.
